Closure at McCain Plant in Grand Falls on Schedule
Production lines will open with new harvest in late August or early September

Two production lines at the Grand Falls McCain Foods Plant closed on schedule, and are expected to start back up on time.
Calla Farn, media spokesperson for McCain Foods, says the first production line shut down on June 10, while the second closed Monday morning, July 16.
She says both lines will return to operation when the new harvest comes in late August or early September.
Meanwhile the plant in Florenceville-Bristol was shut down on June 18 and re-opened the first of July.
Farn expects the plant to have enough potatoes until the first of August, when they too will shut down until the new harvest is available.
