Originally released in 1976 during high times for Hi Records, this interesting album never got much exposure. The group is the basic Hi Rhythm
section; the guys who backed Al Green
, Syl Johnson, Don Bryant
, Ann Peeples, and others in the studio. The lead vocalist on "Superstar," "Since You've Been Gone," and some other cuts sounds like Al Green
on a beer binge. "I Remember You, Do You" sounds like a hit, a twist on the obvious. "Save All My Lovin'" and "You Got Me Comin'" are good Southern bar jams, while "Skinny Dippin'" is both humorous and lewd.
