Nena Daconte's third album is actually a
Mai Meneses solo release, as the other half of the duo, guitarist and arranger
Kim Fanlo, acrimoniously left the project in 2010.
Meneses continues to write all of the material, but relies on the services of savvy producer
Alejo Stivel (
Tequila,
Joaquín Sabina,
El Canto del Loco) for a collection of lightweight tunes that fall neatly in line with the work of similar Spanish pop acts with female vocalists, such as
La Oreja de Van Gogh and
Efecto Mariposa.
