Terry Mann

Terry MannI was born in 1968 in Campbellton, New Brunswick, although no one who lives there now would ever admit to knowing me.

After my education, which included taking my broadcasting course at the New England School of Broadcasting in Bangor, Maine, where I won the broadcaster of the year award I got my first Radio gig in Sussex NB at CJCW.  I was there for a year as News and Sports Director until my hometown station came calling.  I stayed at CKNB in Campbellton for 2 years in the news department with some other on-air duties mixed in, including overnights on the weekend.

Then came the call to move to CJCJ in Woodstock in the fall of 1990 where I took over the afternoon drive show, which I hosted for 6 years and was also the music director.  Surprisingly my presence didn't doom the station, although they were forced to go FM soon after I left...something about decency laws and not being allowed to work naked on AM radio!

After a few years out of the business the itch got to me, and because I didn't have anything handy to reach the itch, I got back into radio.

I'm now doing evenings and weekends on K93 in Grand Falls, I have 2 kids, Danielle and Coulton....although the kids are quite like the folks in Campbellton and won't admit to knowing me either.

If you want to get in touch with me I love getting people to read my emails to me (no one ever said I was bright)you can reach me at  k93@radioatl.ca
