Perth-Andover Still Waiting to Hear from Insurance Company
Damage to town property in March flood exceeded $1-million
Story by Brad Perry
Next week will mark four months since the devastating flood in Perth-Andover and town officials are still waiting to find out what they will do with a number of their properties.
Not only were homes and businesses damaged or destroyed, but so were a number of town-owned properties, including the Public Works building and a former call centre.
The damage estimates have surpassed $1-million and officials with the town are still waiting to hear back from the insurance company.
Meanwhile, it'll be another month before the results of a Flood Mitigation study are released - they are due August 30.
