Unlocked Car Doors Result in Stolen Items

Grand Falls Police have received more than 10 reports as of early Thursday afternoon

A simple task of locking a car door could have saved a number of people problems Thursday morning, August 9.

Grand Falls Police Chief Real Michaud says as of early Thursday afternoon, August 9, they have received more than 10 reported cases of theft from vehicles in Grand Falls and Drummond.

He says in all cases, car doors were left unlocked.

Michaud asks all drivers to take the extra few seconds to make sure their vehicles are locked and valuables are removed.
